Monistics offers system and network monitoring expertise, tools, and services.
Monistics has particular expertise in applying open source and freely available software along with customized tools and configurations. We make use of tools such as Nagios and Cricket to provide effective (and cost effective) monitoring solutions.
Monistics provides monitoring services, both on site and remote. We also assist organizations in implementing their own monitoring systems.
Monistics develops and delivers training on system and network monitoring, concentrating in the effective use and deployment of open source and freely available monitoring tools.
For several years, John Sellens has delivered tutorials on monitoring at the conferences of the USENIX Association, and these tutorials are also available for presentation to companies and other groups, wishing to learn more about monitoring and the available tools.
